Apollo Alloy Bars are a unique pro scooter bar. Most SCS bars are steel but Apollo bars are constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. They don't have a slit, can be used with SCS compression, and can shed over a pound of weight from your scooter vs steel SCS bars. A 3-dimensional extruded gusset keeps the crossbar strong enough for heavy street riding.
Apollo SCS bars are 24" tall by 23" wide. Pro scooter bars that are 24-25.99" Tall are going to be perfect for the intermediate to pro riders who have a couple years of scooter riding under their belt. As a general rule, scooter bars should sit around waist height when standing on the deck. Apollo bars are 22-23.99" Wide. Although bar height and width are highly influenced by personal preference, as a general rule, bar width should be similar to the rider's shoulder width.

However, what you need to know about aluminum bars is that they usually only carry a 30 day warranty due to them being prone to crack at the weld when ridden aggressively. If you are going for the lightest possible pro scooter and don't care about durability, aluminum bars are for you.
