Don't let the Envy Colt S4 Pro Scooter fool you. It is Envy's entry level scooter but it is anything but entry level. The 4th generation of the Colt may just be one of the best bargains on a pro scooter. The Colt sits on a deck and bars that are slightly larger than those of most ENTRY LEVEL SCOOTERS so it fits a wide variety of riders. It rides on 110mm wheels but the Colt forks fit up to 125mm wheels so there's plenty of room to upgrade as your kid grows. We dare you to try to find another entry level scooter that comes with mix grips; the Colt offers just about every pro scooter part that you can find on its big brother, the Prodigy S8. At $159, the price says entry level scooter, but the parts scream top end pro scooter! In fact, when parents ask us for the best entry level scooter to buy, we never hesitate to offer up the Colt before anything else!
The Envy Colt S4 Pro Scooter is built around a 4.7" by 19.5" deck with an 82.5 degree headtube angle. Because the deck does not have boxed ends, we consider the Colt S4 deck to be a park deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Entry Level scooter decks that are 19-19.99" long will be best suited for the younger riders who are relatively new to the sport. The Envy Colt S4 features standard outer diameter Y-Bars that are 22.8" tall by 20.5" wide. Bars this size are ideal for riders who are 4.5 to 5 feet tall. Bars and forks are tied together via an IHC compression system, which is a favorite among pro scooter riders. Finally, the Envy Colt S4 rolls on 110mm x 24mm wheels, which are the most popular size among riders.
