Envy has always made a great park deck and that story continues with the Envy Prodigy S8 deck. In its eighth generation, the Prodigy S8 is the best selling scooter we sell and now you can build your own pro scooter around this awesome new scooter deck. The Prodigy S8 deck will fit a wide variety of riders, from entry level to intermediate. With cutouts on the headtube and bottom of the deck, the Prodigy S8 is a super light weight deck and ready for anything you can throw at it at the skate park. At this price point, nearly $50 less expensive than Envy's signature deck series, you get the same great quality as the sig decks at a more affordable price.
The Prodigy S8 deck is 4.5" wide by 19.5" long, with an 82.5 degree headtube angle. Headtube angle affects a couple of things. The longer rake of the 8th generation of Envy's Prodigy deck makes it perfect for those riders who want more stability and precise steering due to the longer rake of the headtube. Because the deck does not have boxed ends, we consider the 8th generation of Envy's Prodigy deck to be a park deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. PRO SCOOTER DECKS that are 19-19.99" long will be ideal for intermediate to pro riders that have been in the sport for a while or for those scooter riders that need a little more footspace. The 8th generation of Envy's Prodigy deck works with the following wheel diameters: 100mm,110mm,115mm,120mm and the following wheel widths: 24mm,26mm,28mm,30mm. Note that decks typically come standard with 24mm spacers. If you change the wheel core width, you will also need to change your spacers to accomodate the new wheel core width.
