Envy does a great job at making pro scooter parts but they went over the top when the designed the Envy Union bars. Made from aluminum, the Union bars are extremely light weight and are some of the best looking park scooter bars in the business. Union bars are designed to run IHC compression as is, but can be run with SCS compression if you cut the bars down to remove the slit or use a standard SCS bar adapter.
Version 2 of Envy's Union bars are 25.6" tall by 23.6" wide. PRO SCOOTER BARS that are 24-25.99" Tall are going to be perfect for the intermediate to pro riders who have a couple years of scooter riding under their belt. As a general rule, scooter bars should sit around waist height when standing on the deck. Union bars are 22-23.99" Wide. Although bar height and width are highly influenced by personal preference, as a general rule, bar width should be similar to the rider's shoulder width.
Union bars are a Y-Bar that Envy designed for Park riding. Your riding style determines the bar material that you should purchase: aluminum, steel, or titanium. Aluminum scooter bars are the choice of most park riders due to their extreme light weight. However, what you need to know about aluminum bars is that they usually only carry a 30 day warranty due to them being prone to crack at the weld when ridden aggressively. If you are going for the lightest possible pro scooter and don't care about durability, aluminum bars are for you. Scooter compression plays a very important role in deciding which pro scooter bar to buy. The Union IHC bars come standard with a slit and are compatible with the following types of compression: IHC,SCS - with purchase of SCS adapter

Envy Union V2 Bars
When purchasing scooter bars, you need to take a couple of things into account. First, what scooter compression are you running. The Envy Union bars have an oversized outer diameter, standard inner diameter, and a slit, which makes them compatible out of the box with ICS and IHC compression. If you cut the bars down to remove the slit, they can also be used with SCS compression. Once you know the Union bars are compatible with your scooter setup, people often consider how the bars look. In our opinion, the Envy Union and Reaper bars are simply the best looking bars in the scooter industry. Scooter bars are currently made of 3 materials - aluminum, steel, and titanium. Union bars are aluminum, which are much, much lighter than steel bars but do not offer the same strength that steel bars do. Titanium bars offer the best of both worlds - the light weight of aluminum with the strength of steel but are very expensive. So, if you don't have $200 - $300 to drop on titanium bars, aluminum bars are the way to go if you are looking for a light weight setup. If you thrash your scooter and are hard on your bars, steel bars may be a better option for you. We rate the Union bars at a 4 for one simple reason - they're not titanium bars. When pushed to the limits, aluminum bars can break so we prefer titanium. With that said, if you are in the market for a quality aluminum bar that looks great, the Envy Union bars are the scooter bar for you.
