The Ethic Erawan is Ethic's entry level pro scooter. The Erawan's claim to fame is its light weight, coming in at just 6.7 lbs. Yep, under 7 pounds. There is no steel on this pro scooter; aluminum is king and brings the weight down significantly. With a moderate deck and bar size, the Erawan is versatile and will fit a wide variety of riders. While there is a ton of upside to the Erawan complete scooter - killer looks, light weight, great price, there is a downside. It still uses ICS 10 compression, which is dated and hard to find if you have issues with the compression down the road.
The Erawan Pro Scooter is built around a 4.5" by 20.5" deck with an 82.5 degree headtube angle. Because the deck does not have boxed ends, we consider the Ethic Erawan deck to be a park deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Entry Level scooter decks that are 20-20.99" long will be best suited for the younger riders who are relatively new to the sport. The Ethic Erawan Pro Scooter features oversized outer diameter Y-Bars that are 24.5" tall by 23" wide. Bars this size are ideal for riders who are 5 to 5.5 feet tall. Bars and forks are tied together via an ICS 10 compression system, which is a favorite among pro scooter riders. Finally, the Ethic Erawan Pro Scooter rolls on 110mm x 24mm wheels, which are the most popular size among riders.
