Fuzion Nylon Pro Scooter Brake

  • Fuzion recently made the Satellite deck, which is now compatible with 30mm wide wheels. As a result, Fuzion created a new fender, the Fuzion Satellite fender, that works with 110mm x 24mm or 30mm wheels. There were scooter brakes and then there were fenders. So, which should you buy? Easy, if you want to be able to stop, pick up a brake, which you can actually press down on with your rear foot to stop your whip. If you don't want that rear brake to inadvertently stop your wheel when your foot hits it on a big landing, you want a fender. Please note that a fender does not function as a brake and will not stop you. In other words, you're going to wear out a lot of shoes. The Fuzion brake is a steel brake that works with the following wheel diameters: 100mm,110mm and the following wheel widths: 24mm,26mm. Should you purchase metal or plastic brakes? It depends. If you are looking for the lightest possible setup - go nylon or plastic. If you want a durable brake that's going to last a long time, pick up a steel brake. The Fuzion Scooter Brake is durable and was made to take on some serious abuse, whether you ride park or street!

As a general rule, scooter brakes are typically made for the decks, or a subset of decks, specific to the manufacturer’s deck. A handful of manufacturers make universal brakes but they don’t always work with every manufacturer’s decks. To be safe, verify that the brake that you are purchasing was made specifically for the deck that you ride. Current brakes don’t always work with decks from even just a couple of years back so verify compatibility before you purchase.
