The Madd Gear MGX P1 pro scooter is aimed directly at the advanced beginner to intermediate rider ages 8 and up. With the new MGX X headtube, the deck looks awesome and is the perfect park deck size at 4.5" x 19.5". Bars are significantly wider and a little taller than the entry level bars found on its little brother, the MGX S1. THe MGX P1 steps up its game bigtime with 120mm two tone hollow core wheels (did we mention that they're holographic?) and IHC compression, making the P1 a great park scooter. We at SMOKIN SCOOTERS have always thought that Madd Gear had some of the best graphics in the industry, but the three P1 colorways are ridiculously cool!
The Madd Gear MGX P1 Pro Scooter is built around a 4.5" by 19.5" deck with an 83 degree headtube angle. Because the deck does not have boxed ends, we consider the MGX P1 deck to be a park deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Entry Level scooter decks that are 19-19.99" long will be best suited for the younger riders who are relatively new to the sport. The MGP MGX P1 features standard outer diameter Y-Bars that are 23" tall by 21" wide. Bars this size are ideal for riders who are 4.5 to 5 feet tall. Bars and forks are tied together via an IHC compression system, which is a favorite among pro scooter riders. Finally, the MGP MGX P1 rolls on 120mm x 24mm wheels, which are very fast and used by most pro riders.
