The Proto ICS 35mm Compression System is one of the lightest SCS compression clamps on the market today. SCOOTER COMPRESSION can be tricky to figure out but Proto makes it easy with the Proto ICS 35mm Compression System. fits standard outer diameter bars ONLY with SLIT only and forks with the ICS compression hole on top, the ICS 35mm Compression System Made from 6061 series aluminum. The Proto ICS 35mm Compression System is 35mm and screws into the star nut, which will need to be installed in your bars above the slit.. Includes 35mm compression bolt and star nut.

ICS compression consists of a compression bolt and star nut. The compression bolt may be 35mm or 8 inches, depending on your forks. Forks like the Lucky SMX forks require an 8 inch compression bolt, as the bolt stops at the bottom of the forks and the extra length is required to reach the star nut in the bars. A standard length compression bolt will slide through a hole in the top of the forks and screw into the star nut in your bars. Either way, the compression bolt screws up through your forks into a star nut installed in the bars. ICS compression is the most affordable, yet least effective type of scooter compression. When using ICS compression, make sure to use LocTite on the compression bolt to reduce the frequency of times that you will need to tighten the compression.
