River Rapid Pro Scooter Wheels

  • River Wheel Co has two distinct types of wheels - one for Park and one for Street. River Rapids are the street version of PRO SCOOTER WHEELS, as they have a harder polyurethane than the River Glides, making them a little more durable and longer lasting on the street. BUFF Core Technology which helps absorb impact, reduces de-hubbing and creates a smoother ride. River Rapid wheels come in a 110mm diameter and have pre-installed River Flash Flood bearings. Cop a pair of these long lasting pro scooter wheels and you'll rule the hood!

River Wheels Rapid Wheels are 88A PU, which means that River Wheels intended them to be ridden on the street because they are harder and more durable than 86A wheels. River Wheels Scooter Wheels are 24mm wide at the core and should be used with 24mm wheels spacers. The PU width is 24mm. Most PRO SCOOTER FORKS and decks were designed to handle a 24mm wheel core. Since both the core and PU of the River Wheels Scooter Wheels are 24mm, every fork and deck we sell should be compatible with these wheels. River Wheels Rapid Wheels have a 110mm outer diameter, making them perfect for the advanced beginner to intermediate riders. 110mm wheels have long been the standard diameter for most intermediate pro scooters. However, as scooter wheels become wider and taller due to pro riders need for big trick speed, 110mm wheels are becoming the norm for beginner to intermediate scooter riders. River Wheels Rapid Wheels 110mm come standard with pre-installed bearings.

The outer diameter, width, and axle diameter of the wheel must be compatible with both your deck and forks. Diameter refers to the height of the wheel – 110mm, 120mm, 125mm. Width refers to the width of the wheel core (not PU) – 24mm, 28mm, or 30mm. Some wheels have a core width of 24mm and a PU width of 26mm, all of which fit decks and forks that were designed for 24mm wide wheels. Some newer decks and forks use a 12mm axle, as opposed to the conventional 8mm axle. Make sure that, when swapping out wheels, that your wheel is compatible with your deck and fork axles.
